Mark asked me why he was not getting notification of PM's sent to his email address, by default this is may be disabled.

To enable it goto User control panel - Board Preferences - edit global settings - and check the Notify me on new private messages: box - and submit

this should resolve the issue

Cheers Mat, done that. That part, PM's, is OK.

Its the notifications replies to topics etc that I am not getting, like on POC. Maybe this is somethng Simon can look into if its not available generally.

Did that earlier, but I think you have to log out and then log back in to activate it.

But again, thanks for your help.

To make things quicker with the newest version of phpBB, a lot of stuff is cached on the server - it is probably this that means that certain changes only become active when you log out and back in again
